30 One-Liners That Comprise Roughly Half The Conversations With Your Roommate

In This Article:

When people think "college," they immediately think "roommates." And while finding a good roommate seems like a daunting and time-consuming task, it could end with you finding one of your best friends. Like mine, your roommate becomes your confidant, occasional second mom, consistent hype woman, and therapist when you get that weird anxiety causing text at 2 a.m.

Here are just a few of the one-liners that fill our conversations.

1. "How was your class today?"

2. "How did that exam you were studying for go?"

3. "Are you as hungry as I am right now?"

4. "Do you wanna order food?"

5. "Can you help me do my hair?"

6. "Can you help me do my makeup?"

7. "Do I look OK?"

8. "Are we going out tonight?"

9. "I am so tired"

10. "Would it be horrible if I skipped my class today?"

11. "I'm skipping my class today."

12. "Have you seen my super cute white top?"

13. "Oh my God, def wear it with my super cute white top!"

14. "Oh my God, this room is SO warm!"

15. "Do you remember if we locked the door or not?"

16. "Have you seen my room key?"

17. "We should probably clean soon"

18. "Oh my God, you will not believe who texted me!"

19. "Read this! What do I respond with?"

20. "Why are guys so stupid?"

21. "How is it so late already?"

22. "Ugh, OK, I'm going to the quiet lounge I need to study."

23. "I'm really gonna get it together this semester."

24. "Oh my God, it's only Tuesday"

25. "I'm gonna be honest I don't think I'm getting it together this semester"

26. "YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME"

27. "What time are you coming back to the room?"

28. "I need to vent when I get home"

29. "Can we order a pizza?"

30. "Can you come back soon? I'm bored"

Whether you chose your roommate or decided to be randomly assigned one, adjusting to living with them was probably hard. But once you do, you'll find that your roommate is exactly what makes college, college, and what makes your dorm feel a little bit more like home.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
