1. When people ask, "So, where are you from?"
After sharing the story of how you moved from Point A to Point B a few times, you begin to just tell people a random town near you because it is just easier.
2. "Do you know [this person]?"
The most uncomfortable question ever. Not only does it suck that you moved like an hour from your friends, but when people ask who you know, the only response is no one.
3. Meeting people from your new town at school.
You instantly get excited because you are finally meeting someone other than your brother's high school friends.
4. Packing
When you low-key start stressing because you don't know if your favorite pair of jeans went in the college or house pile.
5. Always needing a GPS
Whether you are driving to the mall, the grocery store or somewhere as simple as a gas station, a GPS is always needed.
6. Living an hour from all your high school friends.
Spontaneously hanging out with your friends at 2 a.m. can no longer be achieved without a carefully executed plan and a place to crash because driving home no longer takes five minutes.
7. "Where does this go?"
No longer feeling independent because your new house is like a maze that you cannot seem to crack.
8. School feels more like home than your actual home.
When you begin counting down the days until you go "home" on long weekends.
