College Life as Told By 'Gilmore Girls'

We all know that being a college student comes along with many new experiences! There of course is lots of fun to be had and memories to be made, however there are many stress filled moments as well. Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, along with the other charming characters from their world, seem to explain all our thoughts. Throughout the show there are many quirky moments that we as college students can all relate to. Here are just a few of those wonderful moments!

1. When you start off the semester with high goals.

2. When homesickness hits you hard.

3. Realizing you have to take an 8:00 a.m class.

4. Finding those people on campus that live for the party scene.

5. When you order late night Domino's.

6. When your professor says the final will be cumulative.

7. When your'e trying to pick out an outfit to go out in.

8. When your friends are trying to convince you to take shots with them.

9. Those moments when you experience extreme FOMO (fear of missing out).

10. When you have to remember you're here to learn and get a degree, and that college is not all fun and games.

11. When everyone else around you seems to have their s*** together.

12. When you pulled an all-nighter and coffee is a must.

13. Learning how to deal with all your problems.

14. When you ask your professor if they can move that paper due date back.

15. When you awkwardly run into that one person on campus that you really don't want to see.

16. When your parents call to ask about your grades.

17. When you have a ton of built up stress

18. When your professor says they will be able to tell if you did the paper the night before.

19. Realizing that adulthood is quickly approaching.

20. When the stress of finals sets in.

21. When you question on a daily basis if you can handle all the stress and debt that comes along with college.

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
