College Life As Told By Tina Fey

Tina Fey is, without a doubt, one of the biggest names in comedy today. Whether she's appearing on "Saturday Night Live," writing her book, "Bossypants," chatting on a late-night talk show, getting a laugh on "30 Rock" or starring in one of her many hysterical movies, her actions and reactions are related to by so many, but they are especially relevant for those of us in college. Every aspect of university life can be simply and clearly explained by Fey's most shining moments, and here they are:

1. The first time you go to your dining hall and see all of the options:

2. Two weeks later, when you realized that they're going to be serving the same under-seasoned mush for the entire school year and you want to appeal the cost of your meal plan:

3. When you've stopped eating at the dining halls and have resorted to calling for delivery far too often:

4. Trying not to erupt at that student who always argues with the professor:

5. Your professor tells you to start on your research paper, which isn't even due for six weeks:

6. When you ace a test, but you don't know anyone in your class, so you have to celebrate by yourself:

7. After you contribute a red-hot point to the class discussion:

8. When someone counters the aforementioned point:

9. Coming back to class after missing a lecture:

10. When all of your professors have obviously conspired against you and assigned tons of work at the same time:

11. Getting all of your classes for the next semester set up and knowing that you have the best professors at the best times:

12. The moment when your professor asks the class a question and you have to pretend like you're trying to figure out the answer so they won't call on you:

13. When you're still passing the class after your professor puts in midterm grades:

14. Walking out of the library after a particularly intense group study session:

15. Seeing high school kids on tours:

16. Meeting that person you really can't stand in the dorm:

17. When you hear someone crying in the hallway, so you try to be supportive but you genuinely don't know what to say:

18. Trying to get away from that one person who always tries to talk to you in the morning when you're barely awake:

19. When you need "dinner" at 2 A.M.:

20. Meeting families and significant others in your pajamas when your hallmates bring them over:

21. Coming home from Target and immediately opening all of the snacks that you just purchased:

22. Having random dance parties in the dorms, often in pajamas and towels:

23. Leaving your room on Friday nights:

24. Alternatively, staying in your room on Friday nights:

...and finally, finals week.

25. Having to take a huge final for a class that you have an amazing grade in:

26. Coming out of your speaking competency test:

27. Your ~look~, which is not quite makeup-tutorial ready:

28. And of course, that moment when you just can't take it anymore.

At least we have Tina to get us through it all.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
