Whether it's you or someone you know, going out on a week night is not a surprise for a college kid.

Between classes, jobs, and student organizations, sometimes we really just need a night out even if that means on a Wednesday night.

1. "Them: What do you mean you're drinking that entire bottle of wine tonight, it's Tuesday?"

Me: "I don't understand your confusion."

2. "We should stay in tonight, we have class tomorrow. LOL. Just kidding I'll be ready in ten."

3. "Wanna go to pints Tuesday?" "I have class at 8:30 tomorrow morning."

"Your point?"

4. "Let me take a 30-minute nap then I'll be ready to go."

5. *12:30 am at the bar* "I have to be up at 6:30 for class." "SAAAAMMMEEE!" *high five*

6. "I did my homework today, let's go out."

7. "I didn't do my homework today, let's go out."

8. "Are you hungover right now?" "Shhh, you're talking too loud." "Dude. It's Tuesday."

9. "My test score just went up. Can I get another shot?"

10. "As long as we're in bed by 2:30, we can get 5 hours of sleep. We'll be fine. "

11. "How many days can I miss in my morning class?"

12. "Drunk on a Monday night?" "Why are you even asking that?"

13. "I was planning on going to bed early, but here I am, 1 am and wine drunk."

14. "We should probably stop going out during the week when we have class." "You're right." "Same time next week?" "Deal."

15. "Is it bad that the bartender has my drink order memorized?"

16. "Don't worry, the coffee pot is already set for tomorrow."

17. "I love you." "I love you too."

18. "Can we get pancakes?"

19. "I love college."

To all of my fellow college students,

Have fun and be safe.

Cheers.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

900
Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
