This app (and website) is every stressed-out college students’ dream. With potentially every word-for-word questions and answers to quizzes and tests, Quizlet has everything you need and more. Say goodbye to stress during finals week!
2. iStudiez Pro - $2.99
With the option to track classes, class times, class schedules, professors, and due dates, iStudies Pro will notify you when assignments are due and when you can kick back and relax.
3. Scanner Pro - $2.99
Scanner Pro allows you to scan any document – even handwritten – and change them into PDFs or JPEGs. No more losing papers or assignments last minute!
4. PDF Expert - $9.99
This app is totally worth the cost. With PDF Expert, you can upload documents (already scanned through Scanner Pro) and allows you to highlight and make notes – right from your original document!
5. EasyBib – Free
Hate MLA or APA citations? Look no further than EasyBib! This app lets you search for whatever media you’re using and it creates a citation for you.
6. Uber – Free
Not every student has a car on campus but EVERY student (at some point in time) will need to go off campus. Uber might be one of the simplest things to use – just plug in a payment method and schedule a ride!
7. Chegg – Free
Buying/selling/renting textbooks has never been so easy (or cheap). Search for textbooks you need and Chegg will find the least expensive way to get it. Also in the Chegg app are textbook solutions and online tutors.
8. SafeTrek – Free (with in-app purchase)
If you have a late class and need to cross campus alone in the dark, SafeTrek has you covered. Hold your finger down on the screen until you’re in a safe place. When you lift your finger, you have 10 seconds to put in your passcode or the authorities are notified. The whole process is completely silent, so if you feel like you’re in danger, don’t worry about talking on the phone.
9. Venmo – Free
Need to lend money to a friend but don’t have cash on you? Venmo accesses your bank account so you can transfer money wherever you need and whenever you can!
10. CNN – Free
At some point or another, you’ll get a professor who will quiz you on current events. The CNN app is a life saver – check it every morning to get updated on what’s happening in the world!
