Go to college they said, it will be fun they said.

5 Pictures That Perfectly Represent What College Is Like

Our parents and elders always told us that college will bring you a higher education, a better job, and with that job you will inevitably make more money. What they didn't tell you was that as you go through college in the 21st Century, you will be poor, stressed, and feel like you're dying, to say the least. If I were to be asked to describe college in five pictures, they would be the following:

1. A blank Word document.

I think this is where the most pondering and staring happen, the worst part about this is that it could mean that you need to write a paragraph reflection or a ten-page report about the creation of asteroids.

2. An empty fridge.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing. It could mean that you get to get carry out or fast food, which lets be honest will taste better than anything you can cook, or it could mean that you're officially out of groceries until you can afford them again, aka payday, aka a week from now (Ramen here we come!).

3. An empty bank account.

This could be a result of eating Jimmy John's three too many times this week or the open tab you kept at the bar and yelled at your friends "just charge it to my tab!"

4. A busy schedule.

It's no doubt that getting involved is good and having a social life is even better, but when you add work and classes, of course, you no longer have time to breathe, am I right?

5. Coffee. And lots of it.

I would be dead if coffee wasn't discovered. If I said I wasn't slightly addicted and dependent on coffee I would be lying...

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
