It's midterm season, and the air is honestly getting really tense.

Midterm season means longer hours in cold libraries, stress eating your life away, and just generally not being as happy as you were in the first month of back-to-college bliss.

Midterms are also a lot of procrastinating, so here's 50 things I'd rather do than study for midterms:

1. Watch all 9 seasons of "The Office."

2. Pretend I'm financially stable enough to purchase a home and spend hours on Zillow.

3. Take a nap.

4. Go to the gym and start training for a half marathon that I'll never actually run.

5. Watch cooking videos on Facebook.

6. Watch puppy videos on Facebook.

7. Stalk my ex boyfriend's mother's cousin's daughter on Facebook.

8. Start looking at that section of Facebook where people sell things and consider buying something I definitely don't need.

9. Go skydiving.

10. Contemplate the idea that microwaves were invented on accident and think about what I could invent on accident.

11. Realize there's probably nothing I can invent on accident.

12. Create 10 Spotify playlists and only listen to 1 of them on repeat for 6 hours.

13. Take one of those paint and wine classes.

14. Go to Target and buy things I don't need.

15. Go to Walmart and buy things I don't need.

16. Spend time online shopping for things I definitely don't need.

17. Look at what it costs to rent one of those inflatable water slides.

18. Try every restaurant within 10 miles of me.

19. Join and attend 6 new clubs on campus.

20. Start a new club on campus.

21. Drive to the other end of the country with someone I don't really like that much.

22. Eat 100 chicken nuggets.

23. Make a Pintrest board for my dream wedding.

24. Gather enough dogs to form a dog sled.

25. Ride around in said dog sled.

26. Feed a koala bear.

27. Bungee jump off a cliff.

28. Eat so much food I get a stomach ache and then WebMD why my stomach hurts so bad just so that it can tell me I'm dying.

29. Write a love note to everyone I love because I am dying.

30. Mess up my room and then clean it up.

31. Find a box of old photographs and stare at them for hours.

32. Watch makeup tutorials.

33. Attempt a makeup tutorial.

34. Take another nap.

35. Consider how many tourist photos I'm in the background of.

36. Buy a Nintendo DS just to play Nintendogs.

37. Take a half hour shower to contemplate the meaning of life.

38. Tell someone about how bad I'm procrastinating.

39. See how many gummy bears I can fit in my mouth.

40. Update your social media.

41. Contemplate what I can post on Instagram, and then contemplate about the caption.

42. Read tweets from 2012.

43. Take ANOTHER nap, because I deserve it.

44. Make to-do lists.

45. Do Buzzfeed quizzes.

46. Paint my nails.

47. Do laundry.

48. Read the entire Harry Potter series.

49. Master the art of origami.

50. Make a list of things you can do instead of studying for midterms.

Midterms are tough, and procrastination is easy, but we'll all get through this tough time together. Happy studying!

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
