I’ve always been drawn to fashion. I see fabric as an artist’s canvas, trends as a representation of the times and style as the ultimate form of self-expression.

But just because I love fashion doesn’t mean I want to get dressed up in my Sunday best all the time – or even half the time.

As a student regularly running around from class to class, most of the time, I just want to be in something easy and comfortable without appearing to the world as if I just rolled out of bed. And thanks to today’s style, I can.

So much of today’s fashion is about looking effortless – the sporty athleisure look is in, and I’m all for it because it’s given the world articles of clothing that make “easygoing” a staple in wardrobes.

Here are some of the items that I’m sure every corset-wearing Renaissance woman would’ve loved to get her hands on, and the ones I’m hoping will stay in style for years to come:

1. Loose jeans

While skinny jeans will always be a classic, the roomy, stretchy “mom jeans” that are in style today make for a cooler, more interesting look that won’t come close to cutting off your circulation.

2. Sweatpants

Of course we all have those sweatpants that have since turned into pajamas, but if you can find the right pair – especially ones tapered around the ankles – you’ll have yourself some joggers that can be worn with sweaters or T-shirts for a stylish, sporty look.

3. Leggings

I find that jeans don’t always cut it when it’s freezing outside, but leggings, on the other hand, don’t seem to get as cold as denim does, making for a warmer, cozier outfit.

4. Oversized sweaters

With all that extra, loose fabric, there’s no worrying about sweat stains showing up on these bad boys.

5. Oversized coats

They give you extra room so you can wear as many layers as you want underneath while still being able to move your arms around.

6. Beanies

They’re the easiest of hats: you never have to worry about them losing their shape, and they are huge game changers on those horribly windy days.

7. Sneakers

You can spend hours in them without having to worry about getting yet another blister.

8. Faux furry and fuzzy jackets

It’s as close as you can get to wearing a blanket out in public without attracting any weird stares.

9. Backpacks

I’m especially grateful for backpacks on those days when I’m going grocery shopping and need as many free hands as I can get.

10. Baseball caps

With sporty attire at an all-time high, it’s only fitting that baseball caps would be thrown into the mix. Bad hair day? Need a pop of color? The baseball cap has got you covered.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time.
