Miss you already

To My College Friends While I Am Home For Break

To my college friends while I am home for break,

Although it's not been long, I already miss you guys. I miss movie nights, hanging out, coffee breaks, and even study dates. I don't miss studying, but I sure am missing how we procrastinate and laugh at all the dumb but ridiculous cute animal videos on Facebook. I miss our crazy adventures and simply just sitting around doing nothing with great company.

It's hard going from seeing your closest friends every single day to not seeing them for a few weeks. For the first time in my college experience, I was actually a little bit sad to go home for break. I love being home and missed my family so much, but it made me a little sad when I realized I would be gone from my friends for a whole month.

Luckily, a month isn't that long and break will be over before I know it. It's nice to know that when I go back, it won't be as hard to leave my home. Knowing I found the best friends that love me and have my back is the best feeling.

I can't wait to see what this next semester has in store for us. The time sure does go by fast. I can't even imagine what it will be like when we all graduate.

Love always,

A girl who misses her college friends

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
