The things I am about to tell you that have helped me with this problem, you might have heard. Succeeding in college is important, because it sets you up for your future. Making sure you maintain all of these qualities you learn in college at your job. That's how you stay on top.
1. Stay Busy:
I bet you are thinking "wow, she was just talking about balancing everything, so why should I stay busy?" Well this will teach you time management, and knowing how to manage your time is one of the hardest things to do, but once you learn how to, it can change your life.
2. Being Organized:
Organization is key for just about everything you do, if you have a clean space, and all your things organized you will be less stressed, and more likely to get things done. Our surroundings matter. One of my favorite things to set the mood for my homework, or if I know I have to study for a long time is to get my surroundings ready. I love lights off, with Christmas lights on, candle burning, and some mellow music. This gets me in my zone, and having a nice space to work, is important. So clean your rooms.
3. CUTE PLANNERS:
I can not ever stress enough how significant having a planner is. It will seriously save your life, well as long as you use it. The thing about planners is, you can make it as much as your own as you want. I always color coordinate things, put stickers on, and just making it your own. Having a planner will help you in college, and in life.
4. Start Each Week Fresh:
So what I mean by this is, make sure you get everything done for the upcoming week. Plan your week, make you bed, have all your laundry done. When you start your week off ahead it will help you, it is hard to make sure that you do this; but in college Sunday's are fun days. For Homework and adult things.
I hope these four tips will help you through college, and make things a little easier. I know college is a different adjustment and getting used to it as quickly as possible will help you in the long run. So step up your game, and be on top of everything you do. It will help you.
