The spring semester is slowing coming to an end, but there are a lot of things I've learned since being in college. Some days you feel like you are invincible, and some days you just need to lay in bed—its called balance. Here is college summed up by one of the best childhood shows I grew up watching:

Stress level: Emotionally unstable girl from childhood show. With 5 papers due at the end of the semester, you tend to feel like Millicent--yes that's her name. We always used to laugh at her, but quickly come to realize that we are her. You can often find yourself 2 weeks behind in notes, and failing 8 classes even though you're only take 5.

8 a.m's--enough said.

Saving money is hard to do when there is food at every building you go into. "Free" is a college student's favorite word, and we all find ourselves running to get a free shirt once and a while.

High school is all about fitting in, whereas college is all about standing out. You often times find yourself sitting in class and asking yourself how some of your classmates even got into college. Don't worry, most of them have the same goal as you--you just have to be better at it.

It doesn't matter if you commute or dorm, you still have people or pets you miss from home. Being away from home helps you realize what is important to you, and what the true meaning of family and love really is.

College= attractive people all around you. You may not know them, but you want to. College is a time to experiment with relationships and find out what you like, so take advantage of that.

Luckily for me, I get home cooked meals. But for those who live on campus, I feel your pain. One thing most people miss about home is real food.

Sometimes you just have to experience 3 emotional breakdowns a week just to get by. You find yourself sitting in the library for three hours only to realize you've read just two pages. Just relax, you'll make it.

You find your forever friends. One good thing about college is the people you meet. You meet people of all shapes, sizes and colors. You come to appreciate the ones you meet, and can definitely learn a thing or two from them all.

Even though there will be tough times, and many of them, there will also be unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. Many high-schoolers and college students find themselves asking 'Is college even worth it?' My answer to you is yes. Not only financially wise, but being in college lets you find your true self and that is something you will live with forever.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
