College As Told By Cute Puppies

When you start your first day of freshman year and feel utterly lost

Whether it's watching an entire season of Friends in one night or suffering at the gym together, y'all will be there for each other every step of the way.

Sneaking food out of the dining hall every chance you get

It's okay, we've all done it. Filled Ziploc bags with Fruit Loops, water bottles with juice, and stuffed apples into your pockets when nobody was looking.

When you pull your first all-nighter

All-nighter's aren't what they look like in the movies. They usually end in tears, empty cups of espresso, and a lot of regret.

Living in the library during finals week

Those four walls will become your living space for the next 2 weeks. Pro tip: Bring a blanket and plenty of snacks.

Going home and finally eating real, homemade food

You've always loved your mom's food, but somehow it tastes magical when you come back home.

Waking up for your 8 am

But really, if the sun isn't awake yet, why should you have to be?!

When you try to eat healthy (but go back to pizza in 2 days)

Why would you suffer through eating any more salad when you can just eat a slice of pizza and 4 cookies for lunch?

Those days you feel homesick and just want to be with your mom

Everybody has those days when they just want to curl up into a ball and have your mom tell you everything's going to be okay.

When it’s finally the end of the semester

Even through all the hard times, this semester has definitely been a great one. You'll miss your room, friends, and (even though you don't want to admit it), some of your classes!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
