10 Things That Are True For College Students With Anxiety, As Told By 'Friends'

Experiences with anxiety and stress are sometimes hard to describe. College can definitely cause some serious freak outs. To help explain, I've asked for some help from a few friends.

1. When you have three tests in two days.

2. When your friends are pressuring you to go out but you have an assignment due at midnight.

3. When you're already late to class but some organization is giving out free pizza (or any food).

4. When your professor speed-reads through a slide.

5. When the cursed slide changes and your notes say "th"

6. When people talk during a lecture.

7. When you have a ticket on your car and you have gone over your meter time by 2 minutes.

8. When your Mom calls as soon as you sit down in the library...or when you get one foot in the shower..or any of the inconvenient time choices.

9. When your roommates are talking about all of their plans this weekend but you're mentally going through your agenda.

10. When the day is finally over and the homework is done...only to feel like you forgot something.

This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
