Cold Weather, As Told By April Ludgate

For warm weather lovers, the months of October to February are the worst because it is just too cold. Yes, the Christmas season is "warm and bright," but not literally. In fact, it is the complete opposite of that. It is usually freezing and dreary.

Of course, there are many people that love this kind of weather. They love bundling up and walking the streets with a warm beverage in hand. But for the others, this season will consist of frozen fingers and dry lips that no amount of chap stick will ever remedy.

Here are reasons why cold weather is the worst, with accompanied reactions from April Ludgate of "Parks and Recreation."

1. You have no motivation to do anything because you want to stay in the comfort of your warm bed. You know that as soon as you abandon your refuge from the five blankets you were under, the game is over.

2. The toilet seat is ALWAYS COLD. And the worst part is that most of the time you forget that the toilet seat also falls victim to the cold, which leaves you to quite the shock on your behind.

3. You have to wear layers, aka more clothing than you have. Pants alone are a hassle to put on, but now you have to wear pants, socks, four sweaters, two scarves, etc.

4. You see that the sun is out and shining, but look at the temperature and see that it's only 50 degrees. Why do you deceive me sun?

5. And when you do decide to go outside, you forget to account for the wind chill. The temperature says it's 50 degrees, but it really feels like it's 60 degrees out here.

6. Everyone else talks about how they love the cold weather, and you just silently judge them. They probably like cold things because they have a cold heart!!

7. But once the cold is over, everything is back to where it is supposed to be and all is right in the world. Just hang in there, my fellow warm-weather lovers! We'll get through this winter together.
