One thing that is worse than feeling hot and sweaty is being cold natured. From extra layers of clothes and more laundry to dead car batteries and frozen bottles of water left in your car to become a solid block of ice, winter is rough.

1. When you go over to your friends/family members house and they have the air conditioner on in the middle of the winter.

2. When you are freezing cold outside trying to scrape your windshield from ice.

3. Have you ever got in bed and it is ice cold in your house and you forgot to go to the bathroom and plug in your phone?

4. And completely forget about trying to look cute AND feel warm at the same time

5. An accurate representation of me waiting on summer time to come

6. When you have 15 times as much laundry to do during the winter time

7. When you leave a bottle of water in the car overnight


8. Drinking endless cups of hot chocolate

9. And the fact that you have to leave early because there is so much ICE on the roads

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
