Do you like your coffee with cream and sugar?
Flowing through the dark?

It's an original blend,
imperfectly harvested and richly brewed.
Pressurized and put through the grind,
nothing can taste bolder than the original .

Warm ceramic in my hands, I take a sip.
Breathing in the aroma, I know this roast well.
familiarity flows through me
but It burns going down.

I think I need some cream and sugar
to lighten the intensity
of the roast only I know.
Swirls of sweet cream ripple through black
ethereal in a way, how it takes over.

Light dances with dark and settles together.
A game of yin and yang.
A drop of sugar to mask the bitter;
make the pain go away.

My palette must be sugar coated
for the perfect mug.
