It has been argued incessantly for ages about whether it's better to drink a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. They both have positive and negative aspects that accompany them, so it really just depends on you as a person and what you find important.
Many people that choose to drink coffee over tea make that decision because they want the quick boost of energy that coffee gives. However, tea can give a boost of energy as well. Since a cup of coffee has double the caffeine as a cup of tea, you usually feel the energy boost a lot sooner than you do with a cup of tea, but the energy from tea will stay with you throughout the day, unlike coffee. Coffee is known to have a "rise and fall" effect; you get super hyper and feel like you could take over the world, and then before you know it you're ready for it to be bedtime. Tea doesn't just avoid this "crash" but it can also do a beneficial job at sharpening your mind.
When it comes to keeping your teeth pretty and white, neither tea or coffee are number one winners. Although, you are better off with one rather than the other. The natural pigments in tea are more likely to ruin tooth enamel than coffee is. So if your number one priority is keeping that smile pretty, you might want to cut down on the tea.
If you're someone who has trouble falling asleep at night, it would be beneficial to consider the amount of coffee you're drinking. Although the effect you feel throughout the day is the same with coffee and tea, it's a big difference when you lay down to go to sleep at night. People who drink tea in the morning were found to sleep more peacefully than people who drink coffee.
