Best Coffee Shops In The Greater Milwaukee Area

As most of you are already aware, I’m a total coffee junkie. And if you're anything like me you can get a cup of coffee from just about anywhere but who really sells the best cup of joe? Well from one Wisconsinite to another let's take a look at some of the best coffee shops in the greater Milwaukee area.

I wanna start off with my personal favorite, Colectivo Coffee. The coffee is roasted right here in Milwaukee and is probably one of the best cups of coffee you’ll ever have. The hospitality is great and each shop is designed to make your “tea time” feel urban and unique. Rather you’re at the lakefront or Madison destination, I guarantee you’ll be coming back for more.

Rochambo Coffee and Tea: This shop offers a vibrant and colorful atmosphere that will recall visitors’ artistic sides and promote a comfortable space to work. You also can't go wrong on Brady Street.

Stone Creek Coffee: Another great place to meet up with friends over a great cup of coffee.

Alderaan Coffee: Offers us a modern and worldwide take on coffee with beans from all over the world.

Roots Coffeebar and Cafe: The outdoor patio and live music in the summer is to die for. (Try the Honey latte, it won't disappoint.)

Mama D's Coffee: It will make you feel at home. For students, dog-walkers, work commuters and bicycle enthusiasts alike -- it's a great place to enjoy at classy cup of coffee at a cozy destination.

Last but not least, The Steaming Cup: Right in the heart of downtown Waukesha. It's a special place to many including on of my very best friend's who recently got engaged at this very destination. Hopefully, you'll love it just as much as they do!

Christmas is literally so close. We can almost taste it. But there is just one thing standing between you and the big day: FINALS. It's not the studying, lack of sleep, last minute cram sessions or crappy food intake that is the worst... but the fact that you cannot focus because, well, CHRISTMAS. How do professors expect you to focus when Christmas is soooo soon. For all my fellow Christmas lovers out there, I feel your pain.

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
