With my newly acquired job at my campus coffee shop, I've decided that the world cannot be without another personality test. Without further ado, here is what your coffee shop order says about who you are inside.

Drip Coffee

You are a down-to-earth person who wants a pick me up with no frills. You’re hardworking, realistic, and can appreciate the simple things in life. If you drink your coffee black, it also means you’re a little bit of a sadist who enjoys when life is bitter and difficult to swallow.

Chai Latte

You are a lover of sleep and softness (e.g. puppies, blankets, and large sweaters). You aren’t afraid to be vulnerable, and you have a fondness for the Romantic poets. You do have a tendency to be distracted, and finishing things on time is sometimes a struggle for you.

Hot Chocolate

You’re not afraid to embrace your inner child. You are independent, kind, and loving. You do find it hard to have difficult conversations, and confrontation is not your forte. If you add raspberry flavoring, this shows that you have a fun-loving side, and like to try new things.

Fruit Smoothie

You’re at home in nature, and love to be outdoors in the sun. Winter is a difficult season for you, especially when the sky is grey for days. You’re not afraid of seeking what you want, even if this means disrupting the status quo. You may also listen to a lot of Jack Johnson. If you don’t, maybe you should.

Mocha

You’ve got a spunky personality, and you’re not afraid to say what’s on your mind. You like a good party, but you’re also not afraid to face reality. When life gets tough, you can always find a way to make things a little sweeter. You’re amazingly resilient, and I certainly wouldn’t want to be on your bad side.

Turtle

You are very diligent, but you also LOVE to treat yourself. You’re the kind of person who has no trouble acknowledging a job well done, and you’re quick to encourage your friends when they’re struggling. In a crisis, you sometimes have trouble focusing, but you’re not afraid to face whatever life might throw at you.

London Fog

You really wish you liked black tea, but you just don’t. You also really love literature, or wish you did. This drink is your compromise. It’s sweet enough that you actually want to drink it but cultured enough that you feel proud of yourself.

Hot Tea

You might be a closet vegan. You’re very health conscious and have a refined palate. You’re after a hot drink for its comfort and cleansing power, not the crazy energy boost. You also may have just come from yoga. Keep living your life to the fullest.

Double Espresso Shot

You’re a hardcore adrenaline junkie. You are not in this for pleasure or fun. You are here to do a job and go home to drown your sorrows with cranberry juice. Please take a nap.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
