Prepping for those all-nighters for finals week? Checking off all the places to eat on campus or your foodie bucket list? Out of ideas of how to quench your thirst? You're in luck! It's time to spice up your beverage options and hit up the hottest places on Temple's campus.

1. Iced Coffee from Richie's.

Honestly, the coffee from Richie's is out of this world! If you want a taste of home in a cup, this place is for you! It's made right at the strip food court by Anderson and Gladfelter. They come in caramel, hazelnut, french vanilla, and regular, so go wild and taste-test!

Life Hack: If it's hectic during lunchtime, you can cut the long line, grab the flavor you want, pay, and go! The service at Richie's goes smoothly and quickly, perfect for when you're in a rush to get to class!

2. Lattes from Saige Café.

If you're stuck on the perfect place to study and want a cup of coffee to accompany you in your studies, this is the perfect place for you. It definitely reminds me of the cozy coffee shops you usually see around Philly or New York City. I highly recommend the lattes... they're made right before your eyes with the finest of ingredients! They also have a ton of little snacks or desserts to choose from, and can even make you a sandwich or panini of choice to go along with your drink.

3. Cold Brew from Saxby's.

You can never go wrong with Saxby's. It's been packed since the second one opened up in the Fox School of Business! The selection is huge, but my fave pick would have to be the Sweet Mint Cold Brew. It's the perfect combination of bitter and sweet. If you're into sweeter drinks, Vanilla Chai or Salted Caramel would be another go-to! Another plus to Saxby's? The staff is always friendly and appreciate their customers.

4. Frappucinos from Starbucks.

Simply put, a signature drink to Starbucks. Every college girl's BFF, or perfect for someone who has a sweet tooth. I personally think it's an alternative for when you're craving dessert. Have it iced or hot, you can't make mistakes when it comes to the classic frappucinos. For an ultimate sugar rush, don't forget to ask for extra whipped cream!

5. "La Vida Mocha" Smoothie from Jamba Juice.

If you're a current student with a meal plan, stop by Jamba Juice and try this limited edition drink! It's only made from three ingredients: 2 cups of pure coffee, frozen yogurt, and chocolate (yes, I'm directing it towards you, chocoholics!)! You'll have energy to last the whole day and you'll finish it feeling satisfied. Considering it consists of two whole cups of coffee, it's another way to get caffeine in your system if you're staying up late to last-minute cram for a next day exam!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
