Coffee, My Love

Eight reasons I love coffee and you should too.

Coffee, My Love

Coffee is pretty much the best drink I have ever had, but please, try to find something better; I highly doubt you can.

1. It brings me to my happy place.

Coffee can take any bad mood of mine and switch it around to something more positive. I could be incredibly anxious, and it'll relax me. I could be sad, and it'll make me a whole lot happier. I could be angry or frustrated, and it'll calm me down. I think you get the point I'm making; coffee is the key to putting me into a more positive mood.

2. It gives me life.

When I'm incredibly tired, coffee is what I turn to. How much I drink is dependent on how much life I need. I'm typically a zombie when I first wake up, and after the first cup I'm a whole new person. If it's the middle of the afternoon or late at night and I'm dragging, whether I have stuff to get done or not, you can usually find me with a cup of coffee. The sweet caffeine that is inside it wakes me up better than any amount of sleep can.

3. It can be had any time.

While it is typically thought of as a morning drink, coffee can be had any time of the day. You first wake up, coffee. Cramming for a test, coffee. Watching TV or a movie, coffee. Driving down the road and you see a Starbucks, coffee. After dinner, coffee. It makes for a wonderful treat at any point in anyone's day.

4. It is incredibly versatile.

The possibilities of how to take your coffee are limitless. A few options include, but are not limited to:

- hot or iced

- regular or decaf

- plain black or with creamer

- small or large

- made at home or coffee shop bought

5. It smells like Heaven.

Please, tell me something that smells better than freshly brewed coffee, I dare you.

6. There are so many mugs to drink it out of!

The amount of mugs out there are ridiculous, and I absolutely love it. The range of sizes, colors, shapes, and patterns are endless and it is my goal to own as many of them in my life as possible. Plus it's hard to not be happy when drinking coffee out of your favorite mug.

7. It makes mornings more bearable.

People talk to me in the morning, therefore I need coffee to be able to tolerate that. Enough said.

8. It is soooooo delicious.

The smoothness and richness that the flavor of coffee brings is indescribable. The best way that I can describe it is that it tastes like warmth, love, and everything good in the world all mixed together. It can be customized to anyone's taste buds, so anyone that says that they don't like coffee has obviously never experienced the pure bliss that is drinking the perfect cup.

Now that I think of all these reasons all over again, I think I'm going to go enjoy another cup. Bye!
