A world without coffee is a world I, along with millions of others, could not live in. Some may say drinking coffee is an "addiction", but those people just don't understand the special bond between a human and that much-needed cup of coffee - especially that first sip that gets you started for the day.

Whether it's a k-cup in your Keurig or your go-to drink from Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, there's nothing like that first sip of morning coffee.

Here are 11 thoughts all coffee lovers have as they take their first sip of morning coffee.

"I'm so ready for this."

That obnoxious first sip is the sip all coffee drinkers can't wait for. That first sip is what perks up those eyes and makes you realize that maybe the world doesn't suck as much as you think it does.

"I hope it's not too hot."

There is nothing worse than underestimating the temperature of your coffee.

"If I burn my tongue, still worth it."

But, honestly. Who even cares? The rush of caffeine was totally worth it!

"Needs a little more something."

Sugar, milk, creamer -- whatever your go to is, there's always room for more.

"I can't wait to feel alive."

Remember when I said that first sip makes you think the world doesn't suck as much as you think it does? That's the feeling that makes you feel like a human again after getting your six hours of sleep.

"I'm definitely going to get a second cup after this."

Even when you think you've had your last cup or that your first cup will be the last, you know deep down that you're going to want another one. And people say a caffeine addiction is an "issue."

"Come to Mama."

"Come to Mama" is as serious as it gets.

"Where have you been all my life?"

I'm pretty sure this is exactly how my face looks after my first cup of coffee.

"How do people survive without this stuff?"

I feel like my brain cannot function without at least one cup of coffee, but none?! For those of you that don't need coffee to survive, how do you get through life? Asking for a friend.

"I think I'm in love."

If I could marry coffee, I would. Coffee is loyal. Coffee will always be there. Now, that's what I call love.

"I can finally function for the day."

Me too, Mushu.

Once your day gets started you feel ready to take on the world. Who knew the difference one cup of coffee could make?

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.
