With Halloween right around the corner, something a little spookier may be around your corner. Clowns are all over the news. States like North Carolina and Kentucky have had to shut down schools from the threatening posts from "clowns" trying to scare children. Now the clowns have come to Cincinnati, and are creating quite an issue. Multiple schools in the Cincinnati area have closed last Friday due to threats to scare children.

In response to these threats, multiple sheriffs offices and police departments have posted warnings to the people who find this scare tactic to be funny. They've warned them that the joke they're trying to pull can lead to more serious consequences. Scaring the wrong person could lead to an accidental death. Whether that be scaring a person faint of heart or scaring a person who heavily believes in their second amendment right. Both don't end too a too for well for the person playing the prank.

So here's a few reactions I had when I found out clowns, one of my worst fears, were lurking around Cincinnati...

1. "No.."

2. "Oh hell no"

3. "Why?"

4. Checking around every corner like

5. And going to sleep every night like

Hopefully this really funny prank, and I say this with as much sarcasm as possible, blows over really soon... sleep tight everyone, and be sure to stay away from anyone with a big red nose.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
