Clown Sightings In SC

Are these real?

Clown Sightings In SC

We all know the world is becoming an unsafe place. But here in South Carolina you are almost constantly surrounded by the woods. Until a few days ago the woods became an even scarier place. Clowns have been sighted. There have been numerous reports about the clowns trying to lure children into the woods. But in one of the most recent reports a clown walked right up to a young boys house and knocked on his front door.

Many people are starting to believe that this is a hoax, while others believe it is simply a publicity stunt because of the new "IT" movie being released sometime soon. Either way the Greenville County and now Spartanburg County Police Department aren't taking this as a joke. The reasoning that they aren't taking it lightly is because there have been numerous accounts of this strange behavior and pictures. None of the pictures have come out clearly because it is dark and the clowns always run away once they see them pull out the cameras. Below I have attached a map (courtesy of www.wspa.com). As you can see the clowns are staying pretty closely together in when they are spotted in Greenville, except for the one sighting in Spartanburg.

There have been multiple sightings in Greenville and only one in Spartanburg. The clowns are mostly only coming out during the night so no one can see them. They are also aiming their locations in or near apartment complexes near the woods. The clowns are trying to lure the children in by flashing green lasers and/ or showing them money.

If you are not aware it is a crime to have your face hidden in any way, shape, or form in public.

Now, my opinion about the clown sightings. I think that the clowns behind these sightings are past criminals known for luring children or sex offender. They probably have some psychological issues as well causing them to want to lure the young children. But what is the reasoning behind it?

Whomever the clowns probably have a chemical imbalance causing the neurotransmitters in their brain to make them do things that they wouldn't normally do. Also known as Schizophrenia. This psychological problem can not be treated. It can also run in one's genes or it can just happen from a chemical imbalance with their serotonin and dopamine. The imbalance happens because of how the person's brain reacts to the stimuli- which makes them act out. The person does not always know that they are doing the crazy act either.

The clowns will be caught soon. It is only a matter of time. But until then keep your children indoors with them locked. Or if they go out stay close by. If anyone has any information regarding the clowns call 9-1-1.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
