What has America come to that we can honestly say we have a growing clown problem?

Most people know America for being great right? Other countries have problems such as earthquakes, war, poverty, diseases, and starvation. But what does America have? America has a CLOWN problem. That's right...I said CLOWN, as in those creepy Halloween costumes with the painted faces, tomato looking noses, and rainbow wigs. Is this what the great America has come to?

America has always been a role model country for other countries and our allies in the world. We have always been ahead in weaponry, viewed as strong, and have always been put together as a country. America has had a great history. Up to now... What has America come to that we now have crazy people dressing up as clowns and trying to kill people? Since when is this a normal thing to do? What were people in America thinking when they decided to dress up as mystical creatures with the intentions of horrifying people and killing them? This uproar of murderous clowns has people terrified for their lives. People are now terrified of their lives. The people of America are refusing to go leave the safety their homes without company, having increased anxiety, and they are paranoid. Not only are the normal people terrified, but the other psychos of the world are playing copy cat. Other psychos are copying each other and are dressing up as clowns trying to terrify more people. Who knew America could become such a sick place?

If only someone had an explanation as to why this is happening or how this started, a lot of problems could be solved. It is as if one day everything was normal and the next, the population of psychos went crazy and turned into murderous clowns, while the rest of the population became fearful of their lives. What could have possibly led America to this point?

Some might blame the increase of technology and increased boredom in the younger generations. With the increase in technology and social media, people have an easier time getting attention from the rest of the internet population. With the simple click of a button, thousands of people can view a video in less than 10 minutes. This creates the incentive of people to gain attention by doing negative things such as becoming murderous clowns. Along with the increase of technology, there is an increase of boredom in the younger generations. Technology, social media, and video games have become so prevalent in today's society that people are becoming bored with their lives. This boredom could be the cause of this clown epidemic. Who thought that would be a term used? CLOWN EPIDEMIC.... Let that sink in.

If the world has come to fearing our lives from a bunch of creepy clowns, what could the future of America be in for?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
