I was inspired to write this after I saw a Facebook status that said, "Ladies, this summer, dress for how your body looks and not how you think it looks."
This is something I don't understand. What constitutes acceptable clothing for different sized women? Magazines? Television? Fashion Blogs? I have never seen actual rules saying that plus-size girls can't wear crop tops, skinny jeans, or pencil skirts.
In honor of this here is the actual (satirical) list of what plus-size girls shouldn't wear:
1) Crop Tops
2) Bikinis
3) "Booty" Shorts
4) Pencil Skirts
5) Dresses
Ugh, especially body con dresses.
