It is no secret that the Cleveland Cavaliers have been struggling for much of the 2nd half of the NBA season. Players have come and gone. Injuries have also been a bit of an Achilles heel. Bad defensive play and at times lack of effort have all been on show. There are countless reasons for the Cavs recent struggles, but despite those factors, there are many reasons that the Cavaliers can rally and make a strong push to win another NBA Championship.

1. LeBron James

You have seen it throughout LeBron's whole career. You have to feel like the Cavs have a shot at another championship with the help of LeBron. LeBron does so much for the Cavaliers. He scores, racks up assists, and gets a lot of rebounds. With LeBron, he knows what it takes and he will make sure the entire team is playing at a high level heading into the playoffs. This will ensure that they will play well during the playoffs as well. A LeBron James team always has a very great chance.

2. Depth

One thing that will help the Cavs in the playoffs is their depth. With the acquisitions of Deron Williams, Derrick Williams, Kyle, Korver, and Larry Sanders, Every player on the bench has the potential to make a difference in a playoff game. Ty Lue has many options and that could help spark the team at any point.

3. Defense

The Cavs need to get back to playing defense at a high level. Last season teams were averaging about 98 points a night. This season is an entirely different story. This season teams are scoring on average 106 points on the Cavaliers. That is quite a spike. If the Cavs want to get back to the NBA Finals, they need to turn it around on defensive end. This comes back to the old saying "defense wins championships". The Cavs need to get better and defend better. That should help them a lot going into the playoffs.

4. Injuries

The team has to take care of themselves. An 82 game regular season is quite a haul. The Cavaliers need to get to the playoffs healthy and need to remain healthy all of the post-season. Injuries have hurt them in the past, and by staying healthy the Cavs should be looking real tough to beat.

5. Get their swagger back

It has been a trying couple of weeks. There has been some uneasiness in the locker room. Kyrie, LeBron, and James Jones have all voiced some opinions. They have 6 games left before the post-season. They should try to focus on re-kindling the flame and try to get back the first seed in the east. That should set the tone for their post-season run.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
