The dreaded finals week is upon us folks. This will be a week of all nighters, caffeine overdoses, and cramming. Don't let this finals week get the best of you. Use these ten tips for when you really feel like you might explode. Happy finals week; let the curves be ever in your favor.

1. Go for a walk

When you’re on the brink of a mental breakdown, a simple 10-minute walk can completely change your mindset. Walking improves circulation and increases oxygen supply to your body, which boosts your energy. Walking is also great for your mental health and can help clear your mind when you’re faced with stressful times.

2. Get some coffee

When you’re getting sick of the view at your cubicle, getting up and going to get some caffeine can really help you regain your focus. The coffee will boost your energy and the change of scenery will really help you keep your sanity during this stressful week.

3. Call your mom

Who knows exactly how to talk you down when you’re about to freak out? Your mom of course! She’ll be happy to hear from you and chances are she’ll know exactly what to say to prevent a mental breakdown.

4.

Seriously, just do it.

5. Take a nap

The reason for most mental breakdowns during finals week is lack of sleep. A simple 25-minute nap is not a waste of your time because it will make you more productive and help you retain all the information you’re trying to cram into your brain.

6. Listen to music

Take a minute, relax, and listen to your favorite track. It’ll help you forget about the daunting days of testing ahead of you. When the song is over, take a breath and get back to work.

7. Workout

Working out is a great way to boost your mood and energy. As the famous Elle Woods once said; “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands.” Whether its shooting your husband or having a breakdown over finals, exercise can help you keep your temper and sanity in check.

8. Sing Hello by Adele at the top of your lungs

Does this really need an explanation?

9. Dance it out

Make like Meredith and Cristina, grab a friend, and dance it out. Forgetting about school if even for a few minutes is really beneficial and believe it or not, some great memories are to be made with your friends who are struggling along side you this week.

10. BREATHE

THIS FINALS WEEK WILL NOT MAKE OR BREAK YOUR FUTURE. Try your best and remember finals week is only a week long thank god. You will get through this.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
