Clear Is The New Black

Being a freshman, I can't even begin to tell you how excited I've been for Alabama football to finally start! I'd meticulously picked out what "game day outfit" I would wear to each game, and the respective shoes and accessories to coordinate.

Everything was perfect until someone asked if I had gotten my clear purse yet. A clear purse? What in the world was she talking about? My dreams of filling my cute cross-body purse with tickets and makeup for game day were quickly dashed. Luckily there is hope for us!

For those of you that don't know, this is a new policy for games this year. Alabama has stated that no bags will be allowed into the stadium if they do not meet their specific requirements which are as follows; a clear plastic bag that is no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 or a small purse/clutch that is no larger than 4 1/2" by 6 1/2".

It's hard enough to find a regular purse for game day, so here are some options that you can bring with you into Bryant-Denny.

1. The Classic

So this may not the cutest bag, but it is functional! This is the official Alabama bag that the Supestore, Academy, Hibbetts, Walmart and others are selling. Grab it for yourself pretty much anywhere in Tuscaloosa!

2. The Customizable

Now this one is a game changer. On the Jon Hart website, they have multiple shades of red to get you in the spirit! They will even customize it for you with a stamp on the front with your name! I mean if it's not monogrammed, it's not mine am I right?

3. The Clutch

This stylish clutch is available for the low price of $20.99 on Amazon currently. Low price for high fashion? I think yes!

4. The Classic Cross-body

The Flying Fox is a little-known company that is about to become BIG, y'all. Mark my words and hop on these cute bags fast! Perfectly stadium approved with a wide range of colors to boot!

5. The Designer Pick

This is a solid pick for the girls who are just not feeling the clear trend. Being 4.5" by 6.2" means this tiny accessory can go with you anywhere on gameday!

See you ladies sporting your 'Bama approved bags next Saturday! Kent State won't know what hit 'em!
