The '90s were a time when board games had an appeal to kids and they enjoyed playing with them. It was something simple that could be done with family and friends and usually always allowed for a fun time. These are classic board games that are remembered.

1. Monopoly

You start with $1500 of your own as you cross a board buying property and trying to get your own homes and hotels to acquire more money as the game progresses. Be careful to avoid going to jail or giving your competitors the money that belongs to you. It is a game of chance and whatever happens could be for better or worse.

2. Life

This game puts many people’s lives together in one single nutshell. We go to college and look for jobs. There is a time when we consider marriage and even go through being fired , unfortunately for some, or a mid-life crisis even. $10,000.00 is allotted to the player and it is the player's job to make the right decisions and make sure their life is how they would like it to be.

3. Scrabble

If you ever want to test your vocabulary, this is the game to play. Using every title that is available to you and connecting what is already on the board will cause one on thinking, which word shall be played. Whoever has the most points in the end wins. Play each tile carefully and beat your opponent with the words played.

4. Checkers

Two players are pitted against each other and have to move each piece. They carefully capture what pieces the other player has. Make the right move and continue to advance until everything is in your possession. Taking the game into your own hands matters in this game.

Playing these games are what '90s kids did and we still remember them today. They bring us back to those nostalgic memories of our childhood when we didn't have iPhones to play games on. That is what these games did for us and why they have a place in our heart today. Their legacy lives on.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
