I hear older people constantly talk about missing the good ole days of music. And while to some degree that may be true, classic rock is certainly not dead by any means. It seems like now more than ever, classic artists are putting new albums out in 2016. Here in the Los Angeles metro area, we still have tons of radio stations blasting our favorite songs from the 60s and on. On a side note I want to give a huge thank you to 100.3 The Sound in L.A. for always playing the best classic rock and keeping me listening. Plenty of artists are still touring and promoting new music keeping classic rock alive and well.
Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton just released his new album "I Still Do." The 71-year-old man still finds a way to keep rocking even if a new medical condition has slightly hindered his guitar playing. The record is said to be classic and new at the same time. It's great to see Clapton still doing his thing!
Paul McCartney

Isn't it still refreshing to see Sir Paul standing there embracing the crowd playing his violin style bass? Paul is still touring and playing everywhere in the world you can think of. A class act and a wonderful pioneer of a musician.
The Rolling Stones

No matter how old they get, and no matter how strained Mick Jagger's voice is, these guys still go out and rock your socks off. They were already touring in Europe and now they are coming back to the U.S. to play at Desert Trip in Indio, CA and in Las Vegas. The charisma they have is second to none and we should all be thankful they are still touring.
Mudcrutch

You might be questioning this one, Mudcrutch? Mudcrutch is the original band Tom Petty got a record deal with before they were the Heartbreakers. Three of the Heartbreakers are members of Mudcrutch and they still have that classic sound. With Petty on bass, and Mike Campbell still rocking on guitar, it is a great combination that is unmatched.
Plenty of other classic artists are still touring and releasing new albums but the ones pointed out are the most recent. It is great to see all these bands still performing and it just goes to show that Classic Rock is not dead and never will be!
