You'll Never Hear Me Complaining When These 16 Songs Play On Repeat

2. Tequila by Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay

Music can be therapeutic. It can be calming. Music can also help you shake off that bad day you had or are having. For me, music not only calms me or help me when I'm sad, but it helps me wake up in the morning. Music has become apart of my morning routine. I wake up, pray, and as I'm getting ready, I pop in my headphones and listen to country, folk, and classic rock songs to help wake me up for the day. Some of these songs have sentimental meaning to me, and others I just enjoy singing to and find joy in breaking out into song with.

1. She Got the Best of Me by Luke Combs

This song is really upbeat and just fun to blast in the car while belting out the lyrics.

2. Tequila by Dan + Shay

This is, again a song that is fun to belt out and jam to in the car. It is often playing on my way to school in the morning, so it helps wake me up.

3. Tennessee Whisky by Chris Stapleton (Cover by Jensen Ackles)

I enjoy this song. Jensen Ackles unofficially sings a cover of this song, but it is my favorite version of the song. For those of you who don't know who Jensen Ackles is, he plays Dean Winchester on the CW show, Supernatural. He has an incredible voice and sings this song really well.

4. The Weight (Cover) by Jason Manns, Jensen Ackles, Rob Benedict and Richard Speight Jr.

I recently bought a cd with this song on it. The CD is called Covers With Friends. It is by Jason Manns but it features many of his friends. Many of these friends are famous actors who are in the show Supernatural. Their voices really work well together in the cover of this song. Each man does an incredible job on this song and it is enjoyable to sing along to it. It is even a song I enjoy just listening to.

5. Ramble On by Led Zepplinn

Led Zeppelin is a classic band. Listening to their song, Ramble On, is really fun and enjoyable. It is another song that you don't necessarily have to sing the song to enjoy it.

6. Brother by NEEDTOBREATHE

Brother, is another great song that I will never tire of hearing. It also has a great message and is just amazing.

7. Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas

This song is amazing. It is often looped in with the show, Supernatural. And rightly so, because it is a classic song and works with the message of the show. It is upbeat and is another song that really wakes me up in the morning.

8. Heat of the Moment by Asia

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mAL4NtUhw7Y/maxresdefault.jpg

This one is fun because it was featured in the show Supernatural during the mystery spot episode. The song gets me laughing and it is a fun song to belt out.

9. Sister Christian by Night Ranger (Cover by Jensen Ackles)

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Vb-Bh78dOx4/maxresdefault.jpg

The cover of this song by Jensen Ackles is once again amazing and I cannot listen to it enough times.

10. Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd (Cover by Jensen Ackles)

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jFkYCG6-W28/maxresdefault.jpg

This song is a little softer than the others but is still incredible. The way Jensen sings this song really speaks the message of this song to me. I could sit and listen to this song for hours and not grow tired of it. It has a powerful message and Jensen Ackles really brings it to light in his acoustic version of this song.

11. Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi

Another great song to jam out to in the car and doesn't get old.

12. Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker (Cover by Jason Manns, Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict)

This is one of my favorite songs. Rob, Richard and Jason sing a really great harmony in this song, making it my favorite version of the song.

13. Simple by Florida Georgia Line

This one is a classic and is fun to play in the car. It also helps me wake up in the morning.

14. Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd

http://3.media.bustedtees.cvcdn.com/5/-/bustedtees.67aac485-66fb-4ccc-a644-50ee3f98.gif

This song is sentimental because when I moving to Alabama my Aunt would blast it in the car and I hated it. Now that I no longer live in Alabama, I miss the place so the song reminds me of my time there. It is also another fun song.

15. Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band

https://i.pinimg.com/736x/d6/3a/16/d63a16315c24ce74334c08be59af0ad5.jpg

This one is a classic! It perfectly describes the American dream and what it means to be patriotic. It is also extremely fun to belt out in the car.

16. Five More Minutes by Scotty McCreery

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods.
