Here's to another summer that went by WAY too quickly. Like me, some of you may have spent it overseas or you may have spent it in your hometown with old friends and loved ones. If you are anything like me, good memories are followed by a very HEAVY case of nostalgia... the kind that leaves you looking through pictures over and over and over again or thinking about something that happened and grinning from ear to ear.
That being said, it's mid-August and classes are right around the corner. Yeah, not exactly the cherry on top to summer but it's coming quick. So as the summer ends, here are 3 ways to get through the nostalgia and get semester ready!
All the pictures are just a click away.
I am a HUGE fan of pictures. To me, there is no such thing as "too many pictures", in other words, you can never have enough! When you do start thinking of the incredible summer you had as you walk to class, the pictures are literally in the palm of your hand. It's okay to reminisce and remember. Actually, it might even help to look back at those memories to amp you up for next summer and the adventures that await you!
Classes aren't the worst thing in the world.
Hang on, let me explain. Yeah, school means projects, exam, and assignments which are not the most thrilling things in the world BUT why are any of us in school in the first place? I would hope that we've all decided to go to college to pursue a bigger dream or aspiration. I know, this is starting to sound a little cliche, but it's true. We come to school and put in work so that, one day, we can do what we love. The fun we put on hold to go to school doesn't come back to us empty. There will be a day when your independent-working-adult self will thank you for what you are doing now!
Summer 2019 is on its way!
With one summer gone, another summer awaits. 9 months SEEMS like a long time to wait for summer, but it will be here before you know it! Until then, we have got Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, Birthdays, Anniversaries and so many other holidays and occasions and success and moments to celebrate. Keep your head up and don't forget to keep the party going until next summer!
Here's to good memories from summer 2018 and to even more incredible moments to come!
