I bet you are asking yourself, "What exactly is Spiritualism?" Well to simply put it for you, Spiritualism is the concept for many perspectives of the universal human experience, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, for example:

  • The connection to the spirits of nature and animal magnetism
  • The belief of communicating with spirits and mediums
  • The belief of individuality and the reality of the souls of spirits
  • The belief of afterlife
  • The belief of gods, goddesses, angels, heaven, hell and hierarchy of spirits
  • The belief of astral worlds and paranormal powers
  • The belief of supernatural and occult powers
  • The belief of healing powers
  • The belief in extra terrestrial spirits
  • The belief of ghosts, possessions, magic potions, sorcery and witchcraft

But where exactly did this belief originate from, that's a good question with an easy answer: Everywhere. Spiritualism developed into a region by itself: Europe and Latin America with the help of it's roots of medieval witchcraft, Wicca, and other practices and traditions.

People may describe a spiritual experience as sacred or transcendent or simply a deep sense of aliveness and interconnections.

Some may find that their spiritual life is intertwined to their association with a church, temple, mosque, or synagogue. Others may pray or find comfort in their personal relationship with God or a higher power. Still others seek meaning through their connections to nature or art.

According to the french teacher, educator and founder of Spiritism: Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail (aka Allan Kardec) He practiced "spirit tapping" which is the communication spirits and record their actives, messages and behavior.

The wheels are probably turning in your brain, "Isn't Spirituality exactly the same as Spiritualism?" Sorry friend, they aren't.

Spirituality is the practice of formulating the spiritual attitude on the belief of God and one's individual core and soul and the possibility of self-liberation and realization, usually through the practice of yoga and other methods to sensually pleasure, and ease the body and mind, this is usually how self-transformation and inner purification which leads to achieving oneness with God.

Now with Spiritualism, it could mean many different things to people, which is why it covers a broad range of many practices from intensely evil to radiantly divine, so to simply put it, It can be used for both good and evil purposes. which is why people are drawn to into its immense powers and the miraculous experience it promises to bestow it's participants.

It is also suited for those who believe in karma, reincarnation, liberation, peace, healing and dabbling into the spirit world for personal and or professional reasons. It not only enhances one's power of for those who wish to transcend the physical, mental and material things of prestige, it'll enhance the balance of self-restraint and nature's divine qualities which is the end result of the pure extent of God's very nature and accepting the your inner darkness as well as your inner light both are equally important and can not exist with out the other, which I like to believe makes a person whole.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
