Hi friends, guess what? It's December, and you know what that means... IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! (Also known as the best time of the year). It's the season of family, friends, joy, cookies, warmth, presents and good old holiday cheer. Here are 7 reasons why christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year.

1. Food, food and more food!

Cookies, hot chocolate, candy canes, apple cider and so much more! Honestly, what could be better? It's like Thanksgiving round two!

2. Christmas jams for the win.

Let's be honest, we've been waiting all year for it to be socially acceptable to blast Christmas music 24/7, and that moment is finally here.

3. Christmas movie marathons yewww!!

Home Alone, Elf, Polar Express, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Santa Claus, White Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas just to name a few.

4. Christmas lights, Christmas presents, Santa and everything in between!

It just never gets old.

5. No school, no worries.

Almost a month of no homework, no tests, and no waking up early? Yes please.

6. Being reunited with family and friends.

Cheesy, but so true.

7. Most importantly, getting to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is, after all, the reason for the season.
