It's that time of the year again! Christmas has once again come back around and is in full swing. We all have our traditions that have been passed down from generation, but I think we can all agree that everyone catches themselves doing these 25 things on Christmas day:

1.) Watch "A Christmas Story" for 24 hours straight.

2.) Indulge yourself with the array of cookies laid out.

3.) Run straight to the tree first thing in the morning (2 or 22; we're all guilty of it).

4.) Either wake up too early or too late.

5.) Play the new games your younger siblings or children just unwrapped.

6.) Secret Santa!

7.) Share unforgettable laughs shared at the dinner table.

8.) Snack/ graze on treats all day long.

9.) Burst out in Christmas songs at random times and it's accepted by all family members even the scrooges (We all have at least one in the family).

10.) Eat a cold ham sandwich before the ham goes into the oven.

11.) Watch everyone's faces as they open up their presents.

12.) Run around because you have to be a 25 places at once for Christmas dinners.

13.) Annual family Christmas picturessss! Yes the ones that will be posted later on social media exclaiming all of your family's excitement that you showed up!

14.) Wait for someone else to start opening their presents so you don't look greedy and so grandma can't get that sly picture of you off guard, double chin and all.

15.) Awkwardly laughing through all of the personal questions you really wish your family members wouldn't ask.

16.) Making plans with family and friends that you intend to hold your word to but know deep down inside you probably won't see them for another 2 months after this.

17.) Spending hours in your pajamas or until the very last second before you must get ready to move on to the next family members house.

18.) Sneak in that little cat nap in the midst of all of the festivities.

19.) Participate in all of your odd family traditions that your family has kept going for generations.

20.) Engage in those fantastic conversations about your personal life, that you just wish your family members wouldn't bring up.

21.) Feel awful when you have to say your goodbyes to your one family members gathering because you have to be somewhere else in ten minutes.

22.) Answer "GREAT!" to every "How have you been?" that you get.

23.) Let all negativity go for at least one day out of the year and just enjoy everyone that's around you.

24.) Sit around enjoying the essence of Christmas to it's full extent.

25.) Make memories with those we love the most!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
