It is not merry at all

It may be the most wonderful time of the year, BUT it is also insanely stressful and may make you never want to go shopping ever again. Holiday shopping is always stressful and exhausting. Here are a few things you probably experience while getting your holiday shopping done.

1.) Traffic

But seriously why is the traffic so bad? I mean I get it everyone needs to get some shopping done but why did everyone suddenly lose the ability to drive? And with everyone not being able to drive, so many car accidents happen and everyone gets road rage.

2.) Trying to find a parking spot

THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH PARKING ANYWHERE. You may spend a solid 15 minutes just trying to find a parking spot somewhere.

3.) Every store is crowded.

You can barely make it through anywhere with accidentally knocking into someone. You never even knew that this many peopled lived in your town or would come shop in your town but you do not like it.

4.) Seeing people you don't want to see

You always run into that one person you just honestly do not want to see. Whether its someone you went to high school with or its a coworker you just know that you do not want to see them ever again and you do not want to stop and talk to them either.

5.) The lines

LINES FOR THE LINES. You will have to wait forever just to buy that candle for your aunt that you only see four times each year. By the time you finally get up to the register you might as well have bought stuff for Christmas next year because that's how long the line took.

6.) Being broke after shopping

I can totally see why we have extreme couponers now because buy everything for everyone is expensive. This especially sucks if you are a college student on a budget because grandma may deserve the world but that is way to expensive.

But eventually, it is all worth it because seeing the smiles on all of your family and friends faces is absolutely priceless.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
