It's not for everybody, but it's one of my favorite places in the world and it's even better at Christmas. There are candy canes and ice skating, trees and eggnog, and even in California there's a real Christmas town, snow and all. Whether you believe in Santa or not Disneyland is magical during Christmas because...
1. The tree on Main Street is well over 60 feet tall. It's huge, has over 1800 ornaments, and is way better than any Christmas tree I've ever decorated.
2. The Haunted Mansion become the Nightmare Before Christmas combining two really good movies and two great holidays.
3. There are more lights than usual if that is even possible.
4. All the characters are wearing their winter wardrobes.
5. Christmas carolers are everywhere and they'll even let you join in if you want.
6. There are reindeer behind Thunder Mountain, real reindeer.
7. Santa is there too. Even if you are a non-believer, it's pretty cool that a random guy in a red suit can make so many kids happy.
8. The parade is Christmas themed, including dancing penguins, skiers, and giant snow globes.
9. There are specialty foods like eggnog, gingerbread, and shortbread. Candy Palace on Main Street even makes homemade candy canes.
10. It snows. Disneyland made it snow in California.
So whether you're a fan of Disney or not, Disneyland makes dreams come true, especially during Christmas.
