Christmas movies are a staple in households everywhere during the holiday season. You can't go wrong watching these five classics for the first or thousandth time this Christmas.
Home Alone (1990)
OK, this might have been a little predictable, but you can NEVER go wrong with watching little Macaulay Culkin kick some adult behind. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.
The Polar Express (2004)
What's better than Tom Hanks and a bunch of singing children on a magic train? Nothing.
It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
I understand this one may not be as beloved by the younger crowd of holiday movie watchers, but it's a classic. Yes, it's black and white, but I swear it's phenomenal. If you haven't seen this film, you have GOT to change that. It is downright impossible to finish this movie without a smile on your face and a good feeling in your chest. Oh, and it has been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made.
A Christmas Story (1983)
TBS. Christmas Eve. 8 p.m. Annual 24 hour marathon. You have no excuses.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
The chronicle of the Griswold Family Christmas is a movie necessity each season. How can you not feel better about your seemingly crazy family after watching this fiasco?
You can't go wrong putting these five movies on your watch list this Christmas. They will make you laugh, maybe even make you cry (but only happy tears), and will leave you bursting with Christmas spirit once you're done.
