Christmas is by far my favorite holiday. It's a time where family gathers around in order to celebrate the year and to celebrate each other! It's a time to rejoice about the good and reflect on the bad. But most importantly, it's a time to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.
Christmas means many different things to many different people.
To me, Christmas is:
1. Shopping on Black Friday in order to get the best deals on gifts.
2. Working endless hours trying to get extra spending money for last minute gifts.
3. Baking cookies with my mom to give to our friends and neighbors.
4. Terrible mall parking lot traffic every single day of the week, no matter the time.
5. Going to pick a Christmas tree out, the most perfect tree that meets my mom's eye.
6. Decorating the tree with ornaments, then having my mom switch every single one I placed on the tree.
7. Christmas carols, Christmas carols, Christmas carols.
8. Trying to find out what I'm getting for Christmas.
9. Spending time with my loud, crazy family.
10. Setting up the nativity scene under the tree.
11.Terrible Ohio weather.
12. Shopping for presents with my grandma.
13. Angry retail shoppers.
14. Figuring out what gift belongs to the person I bought it for.
15. Wrapping all of the presents I bought and then wrapping for my mom.
16. Balsam smell throughout the house.
17. Home from college.
18. Dad's homemade pies...actually, dad's homemade everything!
19. SNOW!!
20. Eating 20 pounds of cookie dough.
21. Elf and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation on repeat.
22. Ornament exchanges.
23. Gift exchanges.
24. Keeping your faith alive.
25. Family!
