From Christmas lights, to gift giving, to homemade cookies, there is no doubt Christmas is the best time of the year. Fill this season with Christmas spirit, and check out these holiday attractions in Pennsylvania!

Christkindlmarkt of Bethlehem

This festival celebrates the holiday season within five weeks. This celebration includes various live performances, artisans, retail stands, food vendors, and different activities to participate in! Children can participate in decorating ornaments while parents shop for stocking stuffers.

Christmas Village in Philadelphia

Christmas village is the holiday transformation of LOVE Park in Center City, Philadelphia. This outdoor holiday market consists of over 60 wooden booths filled with vendors. Within the village you can find European food, international holiday gifts, mulled wine, and quality arts and crafts. This atmosphere includes thousands of Christmas light and a big Holiday Tree.

Holiday Lights on the Lake

Holiday Lights on the Lake is 51 acres full of Christmas decorations in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Visitors can drive through the park to admire the Christmas display while listening Christmas music broadcast through the radio. After the drive there is Santa’s Village, where you can browse through a gift shop and take pictures with Santa.

Festival of Ice

This annual festival in Lewistown consists of carriage rides that feature ice sculpture displays. The festival also hosts a Parade of Wreaths where citizens can enter their handmade wreaths into a contest. There is also live entertainment, children's activities, food vendors, and pictures with Santa Claus.

Olde Time Christmas

Olde Time Christmas lasts only a few days. The streets of Jim Thorpe are filled with Christmas spirit. The town’s annual gingerbread building contest, tree lighting, Christmas play, and historic district ghost walks are a few activities to participate in. During this festival, the mansions are open and decorated for tours.

Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest

During the holidays, Penn’s Landing is transformed into a winter riverfront park. Winterfest hosts an Olympic-sized ice skating rink right next to the Delaware River. Along with the ice rink, there are multiple fire pits, holiday trees, and a winter garden full of recycled shipping containers.

Koziar’s Christmas Village

For nearly 70 years, Koziar’s Christmas Village has hosted indoor and outdoor holiday displays. Over 500,00 Christmas lights help light up the country roads to create a holiday atmosphere. Christmas decorations are also used to set up holiday scenes such as “Christmas Beneath the Sea.”

Christmas Candy land at Hershey Park

HersheyPark participates in the holiday season by creating Christmas-themed rides and shows to their guests. Four million lights and 600 animated holiday displays are provided for guest to enjoy from the comfort of their car.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
