It's the most wonderful time of the year. If you are one of the lucky individuals that get to experience Christmas in New York City, then there is so much to look forward to.

Rockefeller Center Christmas tree

The Christmas tree of all Christmas trees. This 100-foot tree is a worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York City. Thousands of individuals see the tree each day, and take their classic picture in front of the beauty all light up. Each year a helicopter scouts for the perfect spruce tree to imported into the city. In the beginning of December there is an annual tree lighting followed by live performances that is broadcasted worldwide. The tree resides in the heart of New York City and is a must-see for anyone spending a day in the city.

Carriage rides through Central Park

Central Park is one of the staple locations in New York City. There is so much to do and see in the park, so why not experience it all on an unforgettable carriage ride? This is a unique and unforgettable experience to see all that New York has to offer. You can have a private two person carriage ride or a fun family and friends ride. In the winter blankets and enclosure are provided to really make it a warm, enjoyable experience. Along the ride the coachman will point out the most historical landmarks and movie locations. Each carriage ride is a unique experience that you won't want to miss.

The Rockettes at Radio City Musical Hall

The infamous Rockettes: every little girl has dreamed of being on stage preforming with them. At the height of their season during Christmas time you'll find them doing five performances a day. They kick off their premiere during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with a killer routine. They also do a small performance at the well known, Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. These impressive girls have the longest legs that can do complicated tap routines followed by eye-high kicks. This impressive girls spend hours upon hours each day perfecting their routine to give you the most exquisite Christmas Spectacular.

Windows displays on Fifth Avenue

A nice, 2-mile stroll down Fifth Avenue will give you a display of a lifetime. All the most well known department stores turn their storefront windows into a magical winter wonderland. Some of the most popular department stores include Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales, Barney's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf. The bright lights and magnificent displays will leave you in awe.

Ice Skating in Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, or Central Park

Grab your skates and hit the ice. It's a magical experience you won't forget. Whether you go with a friend or your significant other, you will have the time of your life accompanied by a some great photos to Instagram later that night. It's an amazing experience, you get to glide along the ice with the beautiful light skyline in the backdrop.

Sledding in Central Park

Nothing makes a child more happy then knowing they can put their sled to use. There are many options for the eager sledder to get a days full of rides. You can head to any local park and hop atop that steep hill for the ride of a lifetime. It will truly make you feel like you're sledding through a winter wonderland. With each tree beautifully coated with snow, and endless hills packed with people and their sleds, it's such a fun experience. Just be careful you don't end up sledding into one of the snow plowed piles on the side of the road.

Everything gets a Christmas touch

Every single thing in NYC gets a Christmas touch and its truly beautiful. The Empire State Building lights up in green and red, the every so stoic New York Public Library Lion gets its wreath, oversized ornaments fill Sixth Avenue, FAO Schwarz becomes a toy land, the trumpet angels take their stance Rockefeller Center, and countless street venders sell Santa hats.

Snowfall

There is something so magical and astonishing about the way New York City looks after a lovely snowfall. The way to white snow covers the city makes look like a postcard. A city that has hundreds of thousands of people walk its streets each day, seems so empty and peaceful when the snow hits the ground. whether you enjoy building snowmen, making snow angels, or shoveling mountains of snow, this is certainly the place to do it. I'm most certainly dreaming of a white Christmas.

New Year's Eve in Times Square

What better way to ring in the New Year then by watching the spectacular ball drop in the heart of Times Square?! Counting down the new year amongst thousands of tourist from around the world is truly an unforgettable experience. Before midnight strikes you'll get to enjoy a plethora of live performances from the hottest bands. If standing outside in the freezing cold isn't your thing, then you can enjoy a personal VIP night at the hottest nightclub with all of your best friends in your cutest New Year's dress.

Visiting New York City is a special experience in itself. But visiting New York City during Christmas time is hands down the best experience you will ever have. With so much that the city has to offer, you will have a trip of a lifetime.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
