Who Are You When It Comes To Your Christmas Decoration Timeline?

Everyone has their own thoughts about how long Christmas decorations should be up.

Who Are You When It Comes To Your Christmas Decoration Timeline?

There are several different types of people when it comes to Christmas decorations.

Putting them up:

  1. Those that put all their decorations up before Thanksgiving.
  2. Those who put them up on Thanksgiving.
  3. Those who wait to put it up until it’s closer to Christmas.
  4. The ones who wait until Christmas Eve to put them up.
  5. And even those who don’t put it up until Christmas Day.

Taking them down:

  1. Those people who take their decorations down Christmas night.
  2. Those who put it down the day after Christmas.
  3. The ones who wait until the New Year.
  4. Those that take them down after the Epiphany,
  5. And then there are the ones like my family, our Christmas stuff is still up.
  6. You also have those that keep their decorations up year round, or at the very least their lights.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
