The Aftermath of Christmas

Christmas Came And Went, Now To New Years

Joy to the World, Christmas has came with mountains of goodies for all the boys and girls! I don't know about you but I am happy it has finally come, for several reasons: 1. I get to have amazing food, 2. I get to unwrap presents, I mean those two things go hand and hand and I wouldn't want anything else. 3. I can finally relax from the hustle and bustle and spend time with my family, for us holidays are crazy with various places to go to and end up being exhausted by the end of the day. The days after Christmas are nice cause we can unwind and just be lazy, or at least me, because my mom cannot handle doing nothing for too long. (If you know my mom personally then you would totally agree, ps. mom, I mentioned you this time. Happy? ;) ) For my family we start Christmas on Christmas Eve, weird isn't but I wouldn't want it any differently. Any who I thought why not still spread the Christmas cheer with a few pictures I took:

1. This adorable picture of my cousin, Reagan, and me. She was obsessed with taking Snapchats and just having fun with the filters especially this one, and even her little brother, Logan joined in for the fun down below.

2. This picture is too cute in my eyes, because 1. I got both of them to smile and 2. I got Logan in a picture for once. I think they loved playing with my phone more than hanging with me, and I am sure their mom was happy not having to run around everywhere for once. Your welcome Melanie! I mean look how adorable they are!

3. Spending Christmas morning at my aunt's house and hanging with this diva of a cousin, Finley. She was so excited Santa had visited and showed us all the teacher gifts she got, I don't know of any other kid who loves teaching more than her and absolutely idolizes my mom besides me and my brother. If you haven't noticed yet with many of these pictures kids love taking snapchats and using filters, I can't help but take fun pictures with them anyway.

This Christmas has been one for the books, no literally we broke a record for it being the warmest Christmas ever, but seriously I would't want my Christmas to be any different. I hope you had a wonderful day with friends and family and ring in the New Year with a bang! Let us hope that 2017 is better than this year.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
