Christmas Break Bucket List

In This Article:

Christmas break is almost here! I am so incredibly excited to get all of these finals done so that I can enjoy being with family and friends! I love making lists, so here is my list of Christmas activities I hope to accomplish before going back to school in January.

 1.     Cookies (Obviously)

I think this is a pretty common tradition, but in my family we love to do home-made ginger bread houses! Delicious and so fun!

2. Day Trip

My best friends and I love taking day trips all around North Carolina. Whether it is Boone, Asheville, or Winston-Salem, we have loads of fun!

3. Hot Cocoa Movie Night

Get dressed up into your favorite Christmas pajamas and grab your best friends. With a cup of cocoa in hand, que up Disney + and you will be in holiday heaven.

4. Volunteer

'Tis the season of giving, so why not volunteer at a local soup kitchen or buy gifts for children less fortunate!

5. Dance To Christmas Songs

My favorite is Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree!

6.  Drive Around For The Sole Purpose Of Listening to Christmas Music

I also love to drive through neighborhoods to look at the lights!

7. Gift Wrapping Party

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is finding cool ways to wrap up gifts on Pinterest! There are so many ways to make the gifts look so cute! It also adds to the total Christmas ambiance sitting under the tree.

8. Crafts

Every year my mom has had a craft day at my house. Whether we made wreaths, ornaments, yummy recipes, or little sock snowmen, it is always a blast!

Christmas is such a joyous time of year, so hug your loved ones and enjoy this time with your people!

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

The Perks of Being a Girl

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
