Nothing can beat spending the holidays at home with your family, and your dog (of course). For some people, this is the most wonderful time of the year. However, for others, the holidays can be stressful. All I know is, being indoors with my favorite people and not having to brave the BG winds on my way to class has been nice. Here is how break actually goes as told by Elf:
1. When someone makes homemade food.
Because let's be real, eating Marcos and having Jamba gets old sometimes.
2. Your reaction to relatives asking about college.
I'll let you know how college was after graduation, don't worry.
3. How it feels to make plans with old friends.
Even though you love them, sometimes it's just too much.
4. When the distant family makes comments about your height.
We get it, I'm five feet tall. I've been this way for seven years now.
5. Seeing people you used to be friends with.
The gif says it all.
6. When your favorite food isn't at Christmas this year.
All I wanted were some good mashed potatoes, I hope that's not too hard.
7. Missing your roommates and wanting to be able to talk to them all the time.
Let's face it, I miss my buddies like crazy.
8. Seeing half of the presents under the tree marked "from: Santa".
Come on mom, those have been there for a couple weeks, there's no way Santa brought those.
9. But still acting surprised on Christmas morning so your dog still believes in Santa.
He needs to believe in order for him to not expect extra treats the rest of the year.
10. Showing up to family gatherings and seeing your crazy family members.
Not that I particularly wanted to see you this holiday season, but hello to you too.
