It is almost winter break; otherwise known as the prime binge-watching season. We will have a whole month off, the weather will be cold, and it will be the perfect time to curl up with Netflix.

1. Friends

"Friends" is all about six friends with different relationships as they venture through their late twenties to early thirties. The characters are hysterical and well developed, the plot lines are both comical and heartwarming. With 10 seasons, you will have more than enough episodes to get you through the break.

2. Grey's Anatomy

"Grey's Anatomy" is hands down one of my favorite tv shows EVER, and I guarantee I am not the first person to tell you this. At first I was a little skeptical because I'm a little squeamish when it comes to blood, but this show is not just about medicine. The relationships between all of the characters is intriguing and watching how things change as they get promoted in the hospital. The 12th season is currently airing, but if you start now you can catch up!

3. Fuller House

Growing up, "Full House" was my favorite show. It was a little dated, but I loved it. For the longest time I literally wanted to be a Tanner. So when the revival came out, I was so excited. It is a little corny and predictable, but if you loved the Tanners as much as me, you will adore "Fuller House." Bonus- season 2 is released on Netflix December 9th!

4. A Cinderella Story

This is a cute little love story starring one of my favorite celebrities, Hilary Duff. This movie is quirky and fun and is sure to

5. Last Man Standing

"Last Man Standing" follows the story of an overprotective father and his three daughters, one of whom has a baby. He says what is on his mind, especially when it concerns his daughters, which is pretty entertaining.

Those are some of my favorite Netflix shows lately! Some shows that are next on my list include "The Office" and "Gilmore Girls" (the original and the revival) so I can hear what all the hype is about!

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
