5 Christian Artists To Listen To Who You Won't Hear On The Radio

The Christian radio stations are great, but sometimes you want something different after listening to "Through Your Eyes" and songs from We Are Messengers five times in one hour.

1. The Good Christian Music Blog

They have a Youtube channel with a whole bunch of Christian artists. They promote Christian artists of all genres. They even have a Spotify with a ton of playlists. My favorite to listen to is the “In the Quiet” music mix on Youtube.

2. Hillsong (In Español)

Everyone knows about Hillsong (United, Worship, Young and Free, etc etc etc), but Hillsong also has Youtube and Spotify channels in Español.

3. The Rend Collective

This band is a little more mainstream, but they have a lot more hidden gems than what is played on the radio. They are a band from Ireland and they have several awesome songs. And they have a new song out, too!

4. Sajan Nauriyal

He has a lot of Pop Christian music and does a lot of collaborations with other artists as well.

5. CASS

This is a band from New Zealand that has some neat Hip Hop Christian songs.

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
