An angel came knocking at one woman's door on Friday when she got a generous donation from one of Hollywood's favorite models, Chrissy Teigen.
Skin Care Consulatant and owner of Ixora Botanical Beauty , Mercedes E, had established an account on the crowdfunding site, YOUCARING, with hopes of raising enough money to pay for her tuition at the Academy of Nail Technology & Esthetics.
What happened next was the wildest of her dreams.
Just in a few short hours, her initial goal of $5,995, was surpassed when Chrissy Tiegen donated $5,605, and commentted saying "I've seen this be your passion for such a long time now. So excited to see you fulfill your dream!"
Unable to keep the excitement to herself, the North Carolina native took to her Twitter account (@CruzanChoklate) to share the screenshotted photo of Chrissy's comment on her crowdfund page, followed by a series of tweets.
"omg. I'm going to cry."
"Somebody just paid my entire tuition for esthetician school. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG"
"i AM ABOUT TO PASS OUT."
"I don't even have the words right now. I'm trying to speak to my mom and I can't even use words properly."
"i AM LITERALLY BAWLING MY EYES OUT."
""I'm crying again. I don't even know how I'm gonna get through work tonight," she wrote.
Before she knew it, an outpour of comments came flooding in.
